ABOUT ME

Jules Ferolie is a 22 year old, Boston-based musical theatre artist with a passion for songwriting, choreography, and fashion. She is graduating this May from Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. Originally from Long Island, New York, Jules was lucky enough to be surrounded by musical theatre her whole life and knew from the start she wanted to make her dreams a reality.

Although starting her dance career at the very mature age of three, Jules always loved the idea of concerts, tour life, American Idol, and the hopes and dreams she would be one of Beyoncé’s back up dancers one day. Pop singing has always been one of her comforts, and enjoys the thrill of creating unique runs, riffs, and breaking barriers with what the “normal” female vocalist should not only sound like, but look like as well in today’s day and age.

Besides being on stage, Jules can still be found geeking about theatre, where she has switched gears as Director and Choreographer for productions such as A Chorus Line at Emerson College, & The Addams Family, & The Little Mermaid back in Long Island.

When not in the theatre, Jules can be seen trying out a new recipe (or recreating a classic family dish), going to Yoga class, or thrifting. Jules also hopes to one day create a comfortable, fashionable, and accessible dance-wear line for all body shapes and sizes.

Above all, Jules is passionate about working on artistic projects and meeting collaborators who also share a similar interest of supporting queer stories, making art accessible, and social change.
